Kreditbank für Wiederaufbau (KfW) supports installation of thermal heat pumps in 2026 by granting 30% subvention; even more if you live yourself in the affected flat and your income is in certain ranges.
For using it, you need an official listed supplier, which creates an offer with a written condition, that the contract is only valid with KfW confirmation. Once singed, you receive a BzA-ID (Bestätigung zum Auftrag), which you need for personally placing the request at KfW via KfW Portal #458:
Processing takes a few minutes, as KfW seems to have auto-approval for the 30% minimum. In case of children and your personal taxxable annual household income:
